11 November – 11 December | Gallery 2
The exhibition features works developed throughout the year by students graduating from the Diploma of Graphic Design and Advanced Diploma of Visual Arts and it serves as a unique showcase for practising and up and coming local designers and artists.
On show is work covering a broad range of industry skills, both creative and conceptual. Students were required to create designs that meet client requirements and solved a range of visual communication challenges. Students have worked conceptually throughout the year to produce a body of highly relevant, often socially cutting, but ultimately exhilarating work.
‘Exit 16’ showcases work of GOTAFE students from both the Wangaratta and Shepparton campuses and includes work across varied media such as painting, digital imaging, contemporary jewellery and logo and package design.
“This combined exhibition showcases the culmination of many years of hard work and study not only in formal education but a formative passion for art and design that is required to enter successfully into creative industries and future endeavours,” said GOTAFE Graphic Design Trainer Michele Hoffman .
