22 September – 28 October 2018 | Gallery 2
An exhibition of recent works from artist Taro Ilyama. Through his choice of subject matter and materials Ilyamo reflects his deep concern for our environment. The works are
mostly constructed using found, recycled cardboard and paper. Ilyamo manipulates cardboard into forms, which are vastly beyond their original function as a container for
commercial goods. Ilyamo’s interest is in expanding the possibilities of making beauty and raising environmental awareness from common, mundane and recycled materials.
