In response to the work of Jolt Arts and the Sonic Adventurers’ exhibition The Red Line, the studio artists of Artmania Wangaratta have created a new body of work, Visual Mixed Tape – a collection of their favourite songs as highly expressive and colourful artworks. Some offer an abstraction guided by the music, others a more literal interpretation of the lyrics or title of the song.
Artmania is an inclusive space where people can explore their own interests artistically in a variety of different ways. Artmania was established by art educator Shea O’Keefe in partnership with Connextions Wodonga and supported by the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
