Thursday 14 March | 6 – 7.30pm
Come and meet the artist behind the installation Green Asylum, which is exhibited in Gallery 2. Relax and enjoy a glass of bubbly while informally chatting to Charlotte, surrounded by her work.
Charlotte Haywood lives regionally in Northern NSW on Bundjalung Country. She is an experimental interdisciplinary artist that explores themes and practices from pop to the primordial. Colour often acting as catalyst. She creates works that thread disparate narratives of time, culture and place through the use of materiality and motif. She seeks cultural and linguistic nuances of the body and the landscape to decrypt and unfold multi-narratives.
