Writing an Exhibition Proposal Madé Spencer-Castle, CCP Curator Exhibitions
Interested in submitting an application for an exhibition or art prize, but don’t know where to begin? Come and gain expert tips and tricks to make your proposal stand out from the crowd. He will share his experiences with proposals from both sides of the table; from assessing applications for the Australia Council for the Arts, participating on exhibition committees, to submitting his first ever student proposal. This lecture/workshop will focus on the practical nuts and bolts of application writing with a focus on a regional context, showing that anyone can master the art of proposals if they know how.
Madé Spencer-Castle is the Curator, Exhibitions at Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP). Recent exhibitions developed through CCP include Image Reader (2019); Simon Terrill: Crowd Theory (2019) and Architecture Makes Us: Cinematic Visions of Sonia Leber and David Chesworth (2018).
